Mouthwatering with Ambiance galore!
“Tucked away in a quaint area of “Trounce Alley”, this little establishment is a hidden gem that mostly locals frequent. Sitting on the outer deck makes you feel as if you have been transported to a unique little eatery in Europe. Bring friends…because it’s wonderful to chat over drinks and everything is Tapas style so each dish can feed up to 4 or 5 people. We order a variety of dishes and always try something new. We have never been disappointed and each dish offers unique flavors that will make your tongue and taste buds come alive. Both the meat and vegetarian dishes are equally tasty, so have no fear. The service is friendly and attentive, and it’s very reasonable price-wise. But shhhh! Don’t tell anyone I told you….we locals are trying to keep this one a secret so it won’t become to over-run and we can still get our favorite seats on the deck

“The kids took me here for Mother’s Day Dinner. I loved it!!! I always wanted to try Tapas….and I got treated to some great food here!!! Everything was fresh and although it was busy, the service was relatively fast. Since this place is VERY popular, be prepared for a busy atmosphere…and always make a reservation! The music was really good and I noticed that the acoustics were so GOOD that it felt like we were listening to a live performance instead of taped music.
) There is a bar at one end of the restaurant… if you just want to pop in for a drink or two. One warning to the ladies: If you’re wearing high heels be careful while walking to the washrooms as the wooden floors are quite slick and you may slip and fall!!!
( Other than that, I would give this restaurant 4 1/2 stars out of 5!!!
)
I can’t remember the names of the dishes I ate…but I do know they were deeeelicious!!!”

“Tucked away in cute little alley, right downtown, Tapa Bar is one of the local favorite. Warm decor, spanish music, original paintings by Mexican painter Luis Merino makes you feel warm even in the middle of Victoria’s winter. Tapas are small dishes which are meant be shared by everybody at the table. And you do want to share because you do want to taste everything. Once again the combination plate is recommended filled with fresh mussels, house smoked chicken, crispy calamari and much more, you have to see and taste it for yourself. Do not forget the Sangria!”
